Another charming stroll through Paris in the rain with photos of Le Marais, booksellers on the Seine, houseboats, Notre Dame cathedral, the Recipon Quadrigas atop the Grand Palais, and the Rue des Rosiers in the Jewish quarter - plus no shortage of old-world atmosphere.
El Tovar Hotel opened in 1905 at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This historic hotel still thrives and shows off its original rustic architecture a few minutes west of the Visitor Center.
Even in the rain, Paris is a city with much to discover. This time I visited the passages couverts, or the covered passages. Straight out of the belle epoch, the passages are home to funky, one-of-a-kind bookshops, ateliers, textile shops, museums, second-hand shops, hotels and boutiques with all manner of intriguing articles.
Hilltop Inn BnB and the adjoining Burns Pub and Restaurant provide good accommodation and fresh British fare to travelers at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport BJC in Broomfield, Colorado. Near Denver, it's a good lunch place, especially if you fly in or out in a small aircraft.
