A goldmine of Cinco de Mayo recipes, starting with homemade tortilla chips and salsa verde. Combine those into chilaquiles and top off your celebration with an old-school margarita recipe. Better yet, save the chilaquiles until the next day - it makes great hangover food. ¡Olé!

Join me for a very yummy breakfast at Tangerine Restaurant in Lafayette, Colorado. I stopped there after photographing the purported "vampire" grave in Lafayette's cemetery a couple of weeks ago. Old Town Lafayette lent its considerable charm to the experience of this lunch/brunch destination.

Denver Auto Show at the Convention Center

Denver's Auto Show doesn't disappoint, with everything from high-end Bentleys and McLarens to more practical Subarus, Toyotas and Fords. Plus MINIs! It was my first time inside the Convention Center, too, which was a nice experience. See all the great photos, and a video of the Jeep "off-road" course.
