Emmanuel Art Gallery resides on the Auraria campus in Denver. By turns an Episcopal chapel, Jewish synagogue, artist studio and now exhibit space, the 1876 building is on the National Register and Denver's Landmark Preservation list. Art exhibits are free and open to the public.

Historical Larimer Square in Denver, Colorado

Larimer Square is one of Denver's first streets. It's also the city's first historic district, thanks to Dana Crawford and her preservation project in the 1960s. The Old-West buildings have been preserved and now serve as home to wonderful restaurants, bars and other venues just a few blocks from Union Station in Lower Downtown (LoDo) Denver.
