Here are some pictures from historic Georgetown, Colorado, an Old West town dating from 1859. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, it hosts one end of the Georgetown Loop Historic Steam Train. Every October, they celebrate John Denver and the movie The Christmas Gift.
A road trip through Loveland Pass in the Rockies on Colorado Highway 6. The highest pass road that stays open during the winter in Colorado, you cruise above the treeline for sweeping views. So, loop off Interstate 70 and enjoy the scenic route 800 feet above the tunnels.
Some stunning photography from my Colorado Rocky Mountain road trip via I-70 on Memorial Day weekend 2017. From Denver to Glenwood Springs, the snow and landscapes were gorgeous. And the road signs were not for flatlanders!
