A beautiful winter activity: the Ice Castles in Dillon, Colorado, about 65 miles from Denver. Check out my photos of the manufactured icicle walls embedded with LED lights, a frozen fountain and many tunnels. Slide down an ice slide with me, too!
Throwback Tuesday Post (TBTP) from 2015: Charming traditional Swiss and German New Year's Eve recipe: raclette, a melted-cheese delight! Informal for friends and family, in the same manner as fondue. Each guests melts their own portion on a cozy winter evening.
Some stunning photography from my Colorado Rocky Mountain road trip via I-70 on Memorial Day weekend 2017. From Denver to Glenwood Springs, the snow and landscapes were gorgeous. And the road signs were not for flatlanders!
Three timelapse videos shot with my GoPro from my apartment window in Bischberg near Bamberg, Germany. One has a sunrise sequence of the bakery across the street. Another has a sequence at sunset. The third video shows a snowfall of the same scene.
Lots of sights this week: Bamberg's Artisan Christmas Market (fifth and final market in town), beautiful snowfall and my walk to Weipelsdorf in it, plus a few more German Christmas traditions and Nativity scenes around town.
