No. 2 Pencil Smokestack in Denver, Colorado

An unused smokestack in downtown Denver sports a paint job that makes it look like a giant pencil, complete with eraser. Although not one of Denver's top tourist attractions, it's pretty neat to see.

Denver’s (Defunct) TV Walk of Fame

Near the PBS station in Denver is a now-defunct walk of fame. The concrete sidewalk tiles are signed by TV stars from the 1960s, including Charlton Heston, Linda Evans and possibly Jerry Lewis. I managed to capture these photos before they demolish the property.

This post presents pictures of both statues plus the park, along with some interesting info.

Denver Auto Show at the Convention Center

Denver's Auto Show doesn't disappoint, with everything from high-end Bentleys and McLarens to more practical Subarus, Toyotas and Fords. Plus MINIs! It was my first time inside the Convention Center, too, which was a nice experience. See all the great photos, and a video of the Jeep "off-road" course.
