A ride on the antique Carousel of Happiness in Nederland, Colorado. Mount fantastic hand-carved animals and soak in the playful, joyous atmosphere as old-fashioned music and smiling volunteers ensure the merry-go-round lives up to its name.
An autumn bike ride around beautiful Lake Dillon, a reservoir serving the city of Denver. Frisco and Silverthorne lie on the lake as well. The aspens were turning glowing gold and the sunny weather yielded me fantastic mountain landscapes!
A road trip through Loveland Pass in the Rockies on Colorado Highway 6. The highest pass road that stays open during the winter in Colorado, you cruise above the treeline for sweeping views. So, loop off Interstate 70 and enjoy the scenic route 800 feet above the tunnels.
A wonderful Labor Day road trip from Denver area to Cameron Pass, Colorado. Then up to Wyoming and back through Laramie to Home. All in all, about eight hours and lots of beautiful scenery, a moose and some antelope.
